Little Heart
One day some lady called me and asked if I can quill a heart which can fit in her name plate which is already ready . Challenge was that the heart size was 5x5 and she wanted thickness 2mm with effect of colour which 4mm strip gives ;-) . Quilling with 2mm strip was not much problem but illumination from strips is difficult to achieve .
So I pre coloured paper with light watercolours and then worked on that surface. And yess!! I got that effect which she wanted .
Hope you all will like it and get inspired to create something new.
Cheers!!!

Hot Air Balloon Card
Hello Everyone
Here I come with my new card !! For this card I cut some random paper to make stencil showing stars and moon . Then I applied Texture medium on stencil to get the pattern on my watercolour paper. Reason for using watercolour paper is I love using distress inks in my project. It gives really amazing effects when they mix with water . Once texture medium dry out completely and then I coloured it with distress inks. And then splashed some water on it .
As I have used texture medium, stars and moon will remain white even after colouring just to complete my galexy I splashed some white colour drops .
Now comes the Quilling part . I quilled this balloon with 2mm strips.
After adding hot air balloon to painted galaxy, my card is ready .
Hope you all will like it and get inspired to create something new.
Cheers!!!

Panda in the Bamboo
Hello everyone
Summer is making me lazy n crazy these days. And with my kid's vacation starting from tomorrow I guess I will be more busy .
So Today m gonna show you my recent card that can be used for any occasion.
In this project I used lots of distress ink in background and in shading small paper box.
Some glimpse of my work in progress are shown below
Watercolour paper gives best effect while using distress ink , and small mist will blend all colours thats the best part of it.
Bamboo leaves are quilled and 'A journey into quilling blog' has very nice tutorial on it.
http://ajourneyintoquilling.blogspot.in/2013/08/new-quilling-technique-tutoial-folded.html
I gave small hint of dark green shade to bamboo tree with my markers !
And finally added my sweet little Panda Bear snugged in a box saying "hey, I have some massage for you" .
To give 3-D effect to Panda eyes I used Mod Podge Dimensional magic.
Panda Bear is made using quilling fringing technique .
And Now My Final Product
Hope you all will like it and get inspired to create something new.

Mural Wall Clock
Hello World !!!
Here I am once again . When it comes to crafting, I really love and enjoys creating different crafty things or trying out different methods to get things done. So when we moved to our new house, I decided to decorate with decor pieces made by me. This time I wanted to make wall clock for our living room .
I have done name plates for my friends but this was be my first try in India with all different materials .
Here are some progressive steps while doing this clock.
First I got one pre cut hardboard from craft stores and clock machine from watch shop.
With the help of local carpenter, clock machine was fitted into hardboard. ( if you got your own drilling machine, its 5 mins job)
Then using mixture of Dent-Plast & Fevicol was applied all over hard board to give texture. With few gravels were glued at both bottom and top.
Coloring was done after board was thoroughly dried. The finishing touch for Ganesha done by acrylic colors.
Hope you all will like it and get inspired to create something new.
It was really fun doing wall clock.
Plz leave your valuable suggestions n comments !!!
Cheers !!!
